A partnership led by Open Secret

 

The In Care Survivors Service Scotland is a partnership service funded by the Scottish Government to work with survivors who have been abused while in care. This exciting new development is delivered across Scotland with a number of partner organisations including Kingdom Abuse Survivors Project who are the main partner of the lead agency Open Secret. This key post will be your opportunity to make a difference to the experiences of in care survivors. This development came from the National Strategy for Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse see www.survivorscotland.org.uk.

 

Development Worker Glasgow 17.5 hours

Salary £24,819 - £27,033 (pro-rata)

Development Workers will have a qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Health, Teaching or equivalent. Posts will involve developing the service locally and direct service delivery to service users including counselling, group work and advocacy. You will also be expected to deliver training to a variety of organisations.
